Give Geese a Chance

_____________________________________

Some people think these geese a pest

Going so far to raid their nest.

Now I know they can be a pain

And if they’re around folks complain.

Honking, eating, pooping machines causing a stink

Need to be eradicated some people think.

*

Give geese a chance, stop and observe

At one time we tried to conserve

These special V-flying creatures

With distinct black and white features.

Living two decades, long flyers, long time romance

Good parents who care for the weak, give geese a chance.

Black and White

—————————————————–

Shadows distill life to a single dimension

Beings filtered down to their common human core.

Somehow this seems to relieve unneeded tension.

Shadows distill life to a single dimension

Moving our differences beyond comprehension.

Erasing beautiful, ugly, wealthy and poor

Shadows distill life to a single dimension

Beings filtered down to their common human core.
